This is an archive of K-M Skalkenæs’ poems about politics. There aren’t so many of them since it is a topic she prefers not to engage in. At least not through art.

Politics is a contentious topic, and opinions can easily obscure a poem – render it impossible to understand – or cause it to be poorly written if the poet cannot keep her emotions in check during the writing process. So there’s many different reasons for not writing about the topic.

However, a few select poems have slipped through the net. They are assembled here; not as a basis for discussion. Just as the poet’s thoughts.
