K-M Skalkenæs has stated numerous times that she thinks questions are more important than answers. That truth is a nebulous concept. And that it differs depending on which person defines it.
These poems are “truthful” from her perspective. And/or they deal with truth as the difficult concept it is.
They deal with grasping the truth. Finding it out. Dealing with it. Or with attempting to figure out whether it even exists.
What is truth? That depends on you. What is your point of view and your frame of reference? That’s what matters.
