Sorry. I was going to write a collection in English again, but apparently I wasn’t done after the last collection. I still had enough Danish poems in me to make an entire new Danish collection only a few months later.

I am still working on an English collection as well though. It’s just…

It takes longer. And AI takes away the vast majority of my desire to publish anything at all online anymore.

But hey, at least I got to finish “Rimblomst” (even if the majority of you cannot actually read it).

I hope someone besides bots will take a look eventually.

Sorry about the despondent tone here – but the truth is that I am gradually stepping back from the internet. This website is the final one I have kept. I have deleted all my other blogs and websites. Downloaded my content. And I am checking out.

The world is insane right now. In so many ways.

And in the world of “The Web”, there is far less engagement today than there was in 2010 when I was a hopeful little poet and first started self-publishing. It has gone down gradually over time. And the last couple of years? Crickets.

So, if nobody’s here… Why leave a website full of my own blood, sweat and tears online, for bots to pilfer and regurgitate? 🤮

I still do get a few (far in-between) comments, messages and sales though. And as long as they exist, however infrequent, I feel that I have a responsibility to keep the content available to my readers.

So I am keeping this website for now. But unless people reach out to me and ask me to keep it alive, I may end up deleting it.

It depends on what the future holds.

Here’s my thought: If crickets for longer than 6 months –> no website.

Please prove me wrong, someone? 😪
