Fjordscene Poetry

you are a little horse wagon
with bells on it –
merrily tripping horse –
the sun glitters
in the red face of the driver,
white lilacs –
happy people
babble –
men and cigars,
wives with coffee
and thermos –
Sunday,
naturally –
