What does my mortal heart want? My mortal heart remains silent. My mortal heart wants nothing.
Here lies all the Earth. You turn away in convulsions.
A wand has touched this Earth, and it turned to dust.
And where I sit on ruins
I know that you’re coming, unforeseen time.
I know that you wait behind a barred door,
that I am near to you and you can give me your hand.
I have no choice,
truth, I feel you even through the land of mist.
Truth, truth, do you live among worms and dust in the morgues?
Truth, do you live where everything which I hate can be found?
Truth, do poor lanterns shine on your way?
