Poems about integrity.

These are, in a sense, very personal poems. Poems about how to be honest and direct and oneself in the turmoil that is modern life.

How keep integrity when under constant pressure to conform. How insist on one’s own experience and opinions when under constant attack? When one has no friends or family to back one up.

How find your own voice (in this case as a poet) and use it, regardless of the price? And how do you even begin?

Integrity is one of K-M Skalkenæs’ core values, and as such it has sept into her poetry. She didn’t choose the topic, it chose her.
