Poems about visions. What is that? Do you mean religious visions? Epiphanies?
Well, one could argue that all people have something like that every now and then.
However, this isn’t the point here. The tag “visions” refers more to the visual content of the poems. The poems that are “visionary” in the other sense, are tagged as “revelatory poems“.
These poems are more about seeing than about imagining. And yes, those visions can lead to long trains of thoughts that causes sudden surges in understanding. Yet, they remain different from revelations in one thing. They are cause by something outside oneself.
