Life taught me
early on
to fly under
the radar and
thereby live –
Nobody taught me
I’d need more fuel
to fly so low
in higher
air density –
I taught myself
with great care
to save energy
in order just
to stay there –
I told myself
that it was fine:
“Nevermind,
we all crash anyway
eventually” –
